Table Y Copper Tube is the heavy-gauge variant of the BS EN 1057 copper tube range, engineered for applications that demand superior pressure resistance and mechanical strength. With wall thicknesses significantly greater than Table X for the same outside diameter, Table Y delivers higher working pressures and greater impact resistance, making it the preferred choice for underground service pipes, commercial mains, industrial process lines, and any installation where additional safety margins are required. Its compatibility with standard capillary, compression, and press-fit fittings makes it a versatile upgrade wherever Table X specification proves insufficient.
