Description

Brazing fittings provide the highest-integrity copper pipe joints available, forming permanent metallurgical bonds capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C and extreme operating pressures. These thick-walled capillary fittings — manufactured from copper, gunmetal, or phosphor bronze — are joined using silver or bronze brazing alloys applied at temperatures above 450°C. The resulting joint is stronger than the parent pipe material and is immune to the vibration, thermal cycling, and shock loads that can loosen mechanical connections over time. Brazing fittings are the mandated jointing method for medical gas pipelines, refrigeration circuits, fire suppression systems, and any high-pressure industrial service where joint failure is not an option. They comply with BS EN 1254 and are manufactured to meet WRAS, BSEN, and ISO quality standards.
