Description
Solder-ring fittings (also known as integral solder ring or Yorkshire fittings) are capillary copper fittings with a pre-loaded ring of lead-free solder already deposited inside each socket. This innovative design eliminates the need to manually feed solder wire during installation — the engineer simply cleans the joint, applies flux, heats with a torch, and the solder ring melts and flows by capillary action to create a perfect, code-compliant joint every time. The pre-measured solder ring prevents over-soldering, reduces waste, and ensures consistent joint quality across all skill levels. Solder-ring fittings comply with BS EN 1254-1 and are manufactured to WRAS and Water Regulations standards, making them suitable for all potable water services and gas applications up to low-pressure LPG. Available in a comprehensive range of elbows, tees, reducers, couplings, and end-feed combinations.
